A lovely book for kids 3-4yrs old who are just beginning to read. Illustrations are very good. There is an extra spread of two pages of glitter stickers of "Frozen" characters at the end of the book which small kids will love.
If your kid loves Olaf they will love this. Most of the stickers in the back are Olaf. My little girl took all the Ana and Elsa stickers. She earned a sticker every time she went potty. We still read the book. She just doesn’t want the Olaf stickers.
A nice little book for a Frozen obsessed child, especially at under £4. Good illustrations (relevant drawings based on the film) Two sets of 15 stickers at the back is a bonus. Here's the WORDING (over about 22 pages): This is Olaf. He is a snowman. Elsa made a snowman to play with when she was a little girl. Elsa and Anna called the snowman Olaf. They pretended he was alive. Years later, Elsa uses her magical powers to really make Olaf come to life! Anna is all grown up now. Olaf meets Anna, Kristoff, and Sven. Sven loves carrots. Olaf better hold on to his nose! Olaf wishes for warm days and sunshine. A day on the beach would be a dream come true! Olaf would sail.Olaf would swim. He would even sit in a hot tub. Do not melt, Olaf! Elsa has a way to keep Olaf cold even when it is warm. She does some magic. Now Olaf the snowman will never melt! (I do wish it had read 'Olaf had better hold on to his nose', but I'll live with it :-) and at least this book avoids American-English spellings).
My granddaughter is 5 and learning to read. She wanted a book she could enjoy reading at home. I perused Amazon's reading books and reviews. This was a perfect fit.
What little girl of 5 does not like 'Frozen' and Olaf in particular? Most of us are familiar with the storyline either from the film or the books. This book is perfect for a new reader. She can recognize the words more easily and she enjoys this while reading. My granddaughter sits down each day and reads for at least ten minutes, often she goes over that allotment because she loves reading by herself. She will often read to her stuffed animals or her dolls. They all know the story by now. This was one of the best gifts I could have given to her.
