Then another voice comes into the novel; Agnes Fowler, who we get to know through her letters to various people and in particular to her Husky Alaskan. She is a great character, quirky and a rather eccentric if perhaps a bit too open about her life and thought!. There are also some minor characters, Caroline's friends in New Orleans, who give the story a further touch of lightness and humour.
The novel has some great twists and turns. I look forward to reading more works by this author
It's a beautifully written story about 3 sisters and their journey.
It's poignant and sad at times but definitely worth a few emotional moments.
If you're a sister read it!!
