The item was faulty. Ifb service is also too bad. First thing I faced with the demo. The demo person did not visit for some unknown reasons. After repeated calls to ifb customer care, they sent the demo person finally. When he arrived, he found that the item was faulty, the display panel was not working. I registered a complaint in ifb customer care, and as far as i know, the demo guy also registered a complaint. He also sent me an image of his report which clearly mentions that the item is faulty. I was advised that a technician will visit within 24 hours, and three days went by. Again calling ifb, I found that no complain is registered and demo is also showing closed. Then, while again registering a complaint, I was advised that the server is not working and I should wait for one day or so before the complain itself gets registered. I would strictly recommend anyone to look for good service before buying from such a reputed company, because it looks like they can avoid their fault very easily when needed. This product worked fine for 2 months. But since the last 3 weeks, some functions are not working. So I registered a service complaint. The service engineer visited 2 times and replaced the touchpanel on his second visit and said everything is ok.
But after one day again the oven stopped working. Now only one function "Express cooking"is working. All other functions are disabled. We have made several requests to the customer service through phone. But the service is still pending since the last one week. We are unable to use the oven since the last 3 weeks.
I have registered online complaint through "Get in touch"option, but not received any service ticket number for tracking.
This appears to be a problem with the "internal program logic" circuit and a faulty product that you have supplied. Now the oven is not functional. I request you to replace this faulty product. It is now under warranty period. Date of purchase 30/07/2019
I again request you to replace this faulty product at the earliest.
One of the best model using it since 2010 I have even put stell plat while reheating And even bowls put foil on grill for making tandoori any kind of untensil can be used Repaired twice one was touchpanel 4 month back And some sound was coming motor was not rotating this was 4 years back got thi oven for 5500 total repair cost in 10 years 1100 for new panel and 750 during motor issue
After 2 years the touchpanel suddenly stopped working, replacement costs 1200 but after replacing also MW was not working and IFB guy told that Magnetron,touchpanel, PCB circuit all needs to be replaced which will cost around 4000 rupees and he would need to take the MW to service centre. He also said the warranty on magnetron is 1 year but it's clearly mentioned on the product itself that it is 3 years. There are hardly 6 to 7 components in any MW and they say 3 are damaged within 2 years of use. Moreover the cost of the spares are so high you might buy a new MW instead of repair..for an 8000 Rupees product 4000 for repair....I guess that is what they want.
