I have read the book Falling For You. I was really impressed with the story line. I started reading this book when i boarded the flight from KL to Kochi, i got totally immersed into the story. Time just went so fast. A good book is when it triggers the emotions to the readers and i'm sure this book has achieved that. I was laughing, smiling, sad, angry through out the book. All emotions i got. Pre climax of this story really made my eyes wet. A little cons i found was same words repeated twice in the lines, and words were misplaced. For example, in a line, instead of "postpone" it was "post porn". But it was just a matter of proof reading. But i will surely suggest this book for readers who wants to read a emotional full filled alongwith few things to know for a before and after getting into a relationship. Hoping to read more books like this from you. I've become a fan of the author in you.
First the story was simple, but the character's personalities were very intense and (I am not sure if a person like Sameer exists or not) realistic. Secondly the book depicts the typical Indian society standards, beliefs and proceedings which is very disappointing for most people. Being an Indian i am upset that even in today's world still there are communities where the people never think of the individual's happiness. This book is an eye opener not only for women but also for men who are in unhappy marriages/relationships.
I am still hung up on the impact of the story and as i said above it is very intense as this involves a bit of psychological effects in an abusive relationship. I hope it will help the affected people to understand that 'everything will pass one day' and they will be able to form their lives however they want.
This book tells us story of women who ended up in abusive marriage , mother of 3 children, who is holding up medical degree , setting up new life n escaping from the clutches of loveless, abusive marriage
A happily ever after story in life is possible only when you start fighting back for what u want. This story is same, narrated well n exhibiting emotions n expectations of society.
At times we forget what we really want n live with the expectations of society but let it go. It's ok to let go.
