Top critical review
Unbalanced sound, overrated performance.

The claims are mere extrapolations. This is the issue when you rely upon the legacy of a successful brand, to promote another. The product must still deliver on those promises, this is where things go out of context with Infinity branded products.
This speaker is touted to be exceptional in bass reproduction, and a 'party starter'. Its no of those. The speaker is tiny, it doesn't have enough room for bass, and most of what it does, is simulated through DSP. As a result, it sounds artificial as it lacks warmth. The high and mids are overtly pronounced, which soon becomes irritating. Overall the sound is unbalanced and unnatural. How does Boat 200 sound better? It sticks to the basics. Even withing the JBL stable, the old generation JBL Go produces balanced sound, by efficiently utilizing the bass port.
There's nothing exceptional about this, and they couldn't inherit the JBL experience in sound reproduction.
