These first 3 books in the series are up to the standard I learned to expect from Kathi’s other series that takes place in Montana: Tess and Tilly Cozy Mysteries. This series, The Inn at Holiday Bay, takes place on the Maine coast where Abby has run to after losing her husband and infant son in a car accident. While refurbishing the Inn Abby finds evidence of the home’s history and original owners. A fantastic read.

Easy reading. Each story is individual but most characters have been introduced by the end of the first book. There's a mystery in each story and the start of romances between main characters.
