This book was okay, I mostly enjoyed divergent compared to insurgent. I had finished nearly 3 quarters of the book but gave up and just read on what happened on a different source. I disliked the repeated arguments between Tris and four. I think personally the book dragged out, and some of the suspense went up and down of what I read of the book therefore which me give up on the book.
Whilst I enjoyed this I felt the main character was lacking, and emotionally underdeveloped. I disliked the rollercoaster with Tobias and felt the storyline became confusing at times, unnecessarily. I will go on to read the first but felt this was not as good as the first book.
This is a good read and I would recommend people to read it if they have read the first and enjoyed it, but like with a lot of squeals it's not quiet as good as the first book but it's ok and now onto the third. Only right to finish the series.
After reading Divergent, I feel as if this book was kind of a let down, it was slow paced in part and just not as engaging. However, during the middle to the end the book did pick up. Despite everything I still kept reading and I'm glad I did.
