I purchased this book a few days before my daughters 6th Birthday. Having read a few Isadora Moon books already this was the perfect one to purchase next. It’s a fab story about Isadoras birthday party planned by her parents for her human friends. Her annoying cousin comes to do a magic show so her parents tell her to stop opening her presents on his arrival. They put it under the sink and she finally opens it right at the end of the book. My daughter was desperate to know what was in the present the whole way through. This meant she was ultra keen to read it as quickly as possible. We have fallen in love with Isadora and it has helped her reading progress so much. 100% recommend this and all the Isadora Moon books
My children and I absolutely adore Isadora Moon and her family! This book is perfect for any little or big person who loves a bit of a quirky magic, charming character and oodles of sparkles. Fantastic series you don't want to miss out on.
My 7 year old loves these books. We have read a couple together but now she takes herself off to read them on her own. I got this one as it’s her birthday in a couple of days so we have been reading it in the lead up to it.
Isadora Moon wants a birthday party that isn't a fairy one or a vampire one, she wants a human one so her friends can come from school. However her parents do not fully understand what she wants and therefore chaos ensues. At the same time Isadora learns an important lesson not to worry so much and to enjoy what comes. Her family are special in their own way.
I am really loving this series and look forward to the day I can read it to my own children or my nephews and nieces.
We love the Isadora moon series (myself & my 7 year old). They are great for the transition in to independent reading with larger text & lots of pictures but still a chapter book. The stories are cute & engaging. Would recommen.
My daughter absolutely loved this book! She likes the idea of Isadora being part vampire and not just a fairy or a princess. The story was great and the illustrations are beautiful. A wonderful book for younger readers
