Sri M was born in Tiruvananthapuram, Kerala. At the age of nineteen and a half, attracted by a strange and irresistible urge to go to the Himalayas, he left home. At the Vyasa Cave, beyond the Himalayan shrine of Badrinath, he met his Master and lived with him for three and a half years, wandering freely, the length and breadth of the snow clad Himalayan region. What he learnt from his Master Maheshwarnath Babaji, transformed his consciousness totally.

Must have book. The book is a master piece. Listening to Shri M is a treat. You get immersed in his voice. No show off and making things simpler and accustomed to prevalent times. A must read book for those who want to understand the practices of Sanatan Dharma. Shri M has reverted me to these practices. I had stopped many of those listening to dhongi babas and intellectuals.
The hard core concepts of Hinduism are explained in this book right from the direct experienced disciple of a great Guru, and the most authentic Guru of our times Shri M (Madhukarnath). If you like reading about vedic scriptures .You'll love it. This book has some core values and their essence

One of the nice things about the book is the explanation of the Advaita Vedanta philosophy. The author also writes about the Gayatri mantra and Kundalini. Especially like the fact that the author was a non-Hindu in his early stages of life.
This book acts as a beginners guide To get good understanding of Hindu religion, yoga and other spiritual matter. This book is recommended for the one who wants insight on Hinduism, yoga, and other aspects of Spirituality

Shri M was an amazing discovery, meant to have happened. My Kriya yoga friends told me to read his autobiography and after reading it I thought, I should try and see if his other works are as powerful. And boy! This man knows what he's talking about. Everything he's written resonates very deeply within me.
