Oats are loaded with fibre which are helpful in keeping you satisfied for long and thus help in preventing binge eating.
1. STEEL CUT OATS:
the healthiest option these are very less processed whole grains as compared to the other two. They have high fibre content and low in glycemic index when compared to Instant and rolled oats which means they feel useful for a longer time and maintain your calorific value.
2. ROLLED OATS :
these are processed and steamed to make them soft and flat and their take a shorter time to cook as compared to Steel cut oats. De-husking of oat groats are carried out and then slightly toasted after getting flat to help in faster cooking.
3. INSTANT OATS:
the most processed oats out of the three instant oats are pressed rolled and cooked for faster cooking and easy consumption. Instant oats are finished and take the fastest time to cook as compared to Steel cut and rolled oats.
Steel cut oats take 30 minutes to cook so people usually choose instant oats or rolled oats.
Kelloggs rolled oats is very good when it comes to quick cooking. But taste is average.
It’s more dusty I. E. Ash content is more.
Overall OK for good health management.
Go for it.
