====Why i bought this?=====
Performance wise, this racquet is way too much comparable to its siblings series and is way cheaper than them. I use this for fun, definitely not for serious practice. I have tried few other cheap racquets but very soon i found out that those racquets are impacting my real game. It just doesn't do that. One piece of advice for beginners and intermediate players : People may convince you that you don't need an expensive racquet to improve your skill, and to some extent its true too..But that doesn't mean you can get anything cheap and start playing..I love this racquet coz its cheap and at the same time, its decent and let me explore my shots.
=====Why i don't play with this often?=====
1. I have 4 high end Yonex and Li-Ning racquets (and i spent days reading about them and then bought them) and i use one of them for serious practice. I have few other fun racquets and i use them when i am just exploring my shots or i am playing with a beginner as it keeps me struggling to improve my shot. NEVER PLAY WITH HIGH END RACQUETS ONLY. You need a mid range/low range racquet to improve your game.
=====How do this help an intermediate/advance player?=====
It provides you with lot of gears. You can possibly play all the shots with this racquet. Above all, it trains you for the grip, control and speed you will need while playing with an advance racquet. I love this racquet including all the G-Tek series racquets. Li-Ning definitely did a great work launching this series.
The overall weight per Amazon is 84g and 86-89g per Li-Ning store. I checked the weight and it was 86g, so Li-Ning site was more accurate. Amazon specified the balance point as 32cm but Li-Ning didn't specify anything. I checked it myself and it was about 33cm. The total length of the racquet is 66.5cm.
The stationary weight of the racquet alone is not enough to choose the right racquet. For professional racquets the swing weight is an important factor, but since this is a beginner's racquet that shouldn't matter. However, what matters is to know if it is balanced, head-heavy or head-light. For a racquet to be called balanced, the balance point should be at about 28.5 to 29cm. If it is higher, it is head-heavy and gives more power. If it is lighter, it is head-light and gives more control. Per this definition, this racquet would be considered a head heavy as the balance point is 33cm. For a beginner, a balanced or head-light racquet is better as it feels lighter for swings and they wouldn't have developed the required muscles yet. I would have probably chosen another racquet if I did my research in advance, but considering that the racquet is light enough, one could add more layers of grip to make it balanced or even head-light (i.e., if one feels the need).
Overall, I think this is an excellent choice for a beginner and it is available for a very good price on Amazon.
2. Bat had a huge bend near handle
3. Product is not upto the mark. Net is very low quality.
4. The net binding is poor. I thought I was buying good product through deal, however it comes out to be cheap product
Single stem. No joint. Flexible and sturdy. Got this for 1000
The cover strap is tight on body even after adjusting to max length, should have been longer strap.
Received black color bag instead of red one.
