Ich LIEBE könig der löwen 1&2, ich schätze allgemein die König der Löwen Trilogie so sehr, da sie einfach einzigartig ist: Wunderschöne Musik( Liebe Triumphiert ist bis heute mein Lieblingslied), Animation und Handlung. The Lion Guard ist ein (Kurz-)Film, der während Teil 2 spielt, allerdings weniger auf die Charaktere des 2. Teils fokusiert ist: So bleibt lediglich die kleine Kiara in dem Film zu sehen, auch wenn sie keine große Rolle hat.
Zum Buch:
Bei dem Artikel handelt es sich nicht - wie man annehmen könnte - um ein Artbook. Das Buch ist ein 36-seitiges Storybook zum Film (aber nicht zu der folgenden Serie) von The Lion Guard. Im folgenden nenne ich Argumente für und gegen den Kauf:
Pro:
- Die Handlung wird in dem Buch mit liebevoll handgezeichneten Bildern( keine Originalbilder) wiedergegeben, die wirklich wunderschön anzusehen sind
- Man erfährt Hintergrundinformationen über den Zeichner und der Autorin des Storybooks sowie über den Produzenten und Schreiber von The Lion Guard( jeweils aber nur wenige Sätze!)
-Das Buch enthält ein Code, mit dem diejenigen, die ein E-buch(= elektrisches Buch, z.B Kindle, Tablet( mit spezieller Software)) besitzen, das Storybook auch digital lesen können
Contra:
Die Contra-Argumente beziehen sich auf Storybooks allgemein. Zu kritisieren gibt es nichts bei dem wirklich wunderschön umgesetzten The Lion Guard Storybook:
- Das Buch war mir deutlich zu kurz( 17 Doppelseiten)
- Die Bilder sind zwar wirklich schön, aber
viel zu lesen gibt es nicht( dafür für Jüngere besser geeignet;))
Insgesamt ein liebevoll umgesetztes Storybook, das einem wirklich schon viel Vorfreude auf dem Film macht.

The new tv movie and animated series has a lot to live up to. Many fans consider 'the lion king' to not only be Disneys best movie but the best animated movie of all time. This review is spoiler free.

I can say that this book is worth it for the art inside, which didn't feel phoned in. There are quite a few gorgeous illustrations, not as good as the cover but still delightful.

The book is made of quality materials, not much needs to be added here.

The story itself seems to be a condensed version of the 45-60 minute long tv movie with many scenes from trailers not making it in. It doesn't feel too dumbed-down for a younger audience who might not be familiar with the first movie.

If you want to introduce your kids to the world of 'the lion king' or if you're a curious fan it's worth a purchase.

My two girls 4 and 3 love the lion guard on Disney Junior. The book is a very condensed version of the pilot tv show. It indroduces you to the main characters. It is a nice 5 minute read before the girls go to bed. It is a nice hard cover book with slipcover. It comes with a free e book version on Disney app story central. My girls were very excited to receive the book and roar right along with me when I read it.

This is an A4 size hard backed book. There is a notice on the cover informing me that there is also included a Disney ebook- whatever that means. perhaps this is of some use to people more savvy than me. There is a good story in it about the lion guard bunch and it is great - if you are into these characters. Great big pictures.

We have the movie as well, so he was able to compare both stories and identify the pictures with the scenes, etc. The language is easy to understand. The book came in great condition, just like a new book. Me and my son are happy with it ;-)
