Best mouse you can possibly buy at this price point. It is light weight, comfortable to hold ( both with claw and palm grip) and it just a different experience all together. Bought it for playing fornite, six siege and pubg, and I feel like my game has improved.
Reviewing this on 16th Sept 2019. Been more than 3 years with the mouse, no signs of wear or tear. This is by far the most worthy investment I have ever made on gaming accessories. DPI still same, keys still intact, wire still uncut. There was a slight issue last week where the mouse did not start on PC startup. Fixed it by reconnecting the usb back in CPU. I think this can single-handedly be declared the best gaming mouse. If you are new to gaming, dont think about the price because trust me, you will not regret it for the next few glory years. For semi and pro, I think this offers better value that razor (A friend of mine is on his 3rd deatheadder since i got this).
I personally prefer the wired accessories, otherwise G502 would have been my next upgrade. For now, I will stick to 402.
Last review which I posted on 28th May 2018 is as below:
Been 2 years with the mouse, still up and running like a beast.
Games I Play: DOTA, CS:GO, PUBG PC, COD, BF, etc
(+) DPS, good reverse action, grip, perfect weight, well placed thumb keys, accuracy of pointer, near to 0 delay, software with options to set macros, key bindings and profiles.
(-) The extrabuttons on the left click button are a bit far. I use them for map and inventory things which do not require fast action reflexes.
The Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury FPS Gaming Mouse has proved to be a reliable tool in my gaming arsenal. I'm curious to see how long this device will last, thought the build quality seems solid enough and the texturing around the grip and surface is very comfortable. The extrabuttons are reachable and tactile but not excessive, the scroll wheel is comfortable to use, and the on-the-fly dpi shifts and programmable macros is a nice touch. The mouse also—of course—is excellent for casual internet browsing sessions or getting any work done on a computer or laptop. My only complaint is that it a wired mouse, however the cord is plenty long (I've actually placed cable ties on it to shorten it) however is not braided.
Games Mainly Played: Counter Strike: Global Offensive,PUBG,Fortnite
Update 08/09/2018: The sensor on this mouse has begun to skip on several different surfaces and after multiple attempts to calibrate it in software. Another aspect that has started bothering me about the mouse is that there lacks support for my ring and pinky fingers eventually leading to them cramping over long periods of use. This didn't happen in the first few months of using the mouse, so it would appear that this is a growing pain and in my opinion really hurts the ergonomics of the device. It's important to note however, that I palm my mice. If your mouse posture is to claw, then you may find this better suited for you.
this is my 2nd time buying a G402, i purchased a new one because my old G402 was wonderfully and i loved it every bit, but after a year it started to not function, the RIGHT click not functioning properly and the middle mouse button not working, i thought then that the device only comes with a one year warranty hence i ignored it and bought a new one, the thing with the new one is that i purchased the new one in june 2018 and in feb 2019 the scroll wheel stopped working, since then, ive been going back an forth from amazon and Logitech to get the device replaced as device comes with 2 year warranty, but no is willing to help. would not recommend the G402 at all, to anyone looking to purchase it, rather i would recommend you to spend the extra money and get the G502 Hero.
Best in terms of quality and performance. The better version g502 is so much costly. G402 is the right proportion of quality with respect to the price tag of the product. I was confused between dragonwar thor and logitech g402. But in the end purchased the logitech g402 because of the overall build quality. Extrabuttons are tactile and the design of the mouse is very good. The side buttons are placed which are comfortable to access. Size of the mouse is normal. I heard some people saying that if your palm is small then this is not the right product but I think ergonomics are so good that is could be comfortable for any user. If you are a FPS player then this is the best thing you can get.
I must admit the price point is not for the average consumer but if you care for look, feel, performance, aesthetics and looking to buy something very good at a mid rage then nothing can get better or sweeter than this mouse. Once i started using mouse with extrabuttons and dpi cycling buttons, its really hard for me to go back to old usual mouse. The build quality and feel of Logitech gaming series is so amazing. I'd pick these up 100 out of 100 times. So yeha please go ahead and buy it if your someone who isn't sure if this is a worthy investment or not.
Good mouse for gaming. I used this mouse in pubg lite and emulator,cod,bf2,bf3,bf4,etc For sniping in pubg it is good mouse you can easily take down enemy sniper. Advantages:: 1) Good accuracy and easy to aim. 2) 2 side extrabuttons are easy configure and easy to click even for medium size hand. 3) Simple Blue Led in G logo and 3 led strip beneath dpi button for showing which dpi setting you are using .Extra features like breathing effect , brightness control. 4) Onboard memory for everything so no hangs or any type glitch during startup or off pc.
Disadvantages: 1) Dpi shift button (sniping button) impossible to click for medium and small hands. It only can be used who have large hands. 2) This mouse only for little bigger than medium and only for large hands.
This mouse is the best at this price range of around 2000 rupees. But when I talk about looks then the looks are great and gives a gamer look, but if you are someone who loves RGB effects then you might get disappointed because it has just a single blue colour lighting effects and those are also very few! And also if you’re someone who wants a simple non rgb mouse then this one is for you! The gaming sensor used is of great quality, the DPI can go up to 4000 which is great. It has 5 extra programmable buttons. You can customise mouse according to your needs from a software called G-HUB. Overall this mouse is best at this range, when we talk about performance.
This comes up as one of the top recommendations when people look for gaming mice in INR 2000 budget range. There's daylight difference between using this (or any gaming mice) vs a regular workstation mouse. Extrabuttons offer customization, the DPI switches on the fly is a welcome feature and the grip is pretty good for my average sized hand (I'm 5'9"). I wish I thought more before purchasing this because it is corded. I might have been happier with a wireless mouse as I don't like to clutter my desktop. Buy this if you are purchasing a gaming mouse for the first time in this budget range.
This is kind of preferences more than anything. 1. The size of mouse is good for people with bigger hands which works for me but might not work for you 2. Ask yourself if you really need those extra 2 buttons(dpi ones which can be binded to anything else), I find it useful for fortnite but not in any other games. If you are happy with just 2 buttons you might go for deathadder instead or g403. 3. Sniper button is may conflict your playstyle as people do set different sensitivity for ads or scope anyways so it wont matter. 4. The shoes in bottom are not great, they have started to come of within 6months of usage. 5. Mouse is pretty accurate and buttons have really good clicky feel.
Oveall the quality and feel of the product is good, but middle mouse button click is so hard to press that after an hour's use it leaves my fingers aching. If you don't use middle mouse button extensively, this is a good buy.
Scroll is easy, key press have very good feedback. size is good to fit your wrist. texture is good so that it wont slip from your hand.
I rarely use the dpi changing feature. the two extra feature keys does not fit exactly at thumb's position the one at the back side should have been below the front one, that would have been better for gaming. neverhteless i got it at discount so it was worth it.
