Best mouse you can possibly buy at this price point. It is light weight, comfortable to hold ( both with claw and palm grip) and it just a different experience all together. Bought it for playing fornite, six siege and pubg, and I feel like my game has improved.
The Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury FPS Gaming Mouse has proved to be a reliable tool in my gaming arsenal. I'm curious to see how long this device will last, thought the build quality seems solid enough and the texturing around the grip and surface is very comfortable. The extra buttons are reachable and tactile but not excessive, the scroll wheel is comfortable to use, and the on-the-fly dpi shifts and programmable macros is a nice touch. The mouse also—of course—is excellent for casual internet browsing sessions or getting any work done on a computer or laptop. My only complaint is that it a wired mouse, however the cord is plenty long (I've actually placed cable ties on it to shorten it) however is not braided.
Games Mainly Played: Counter Strike: Global Offensive,PUBG,Fortnite
Update 08/09/2018: The sensor on this mouse has begun to skip on several different surfaces and after multiple attempts to calibrate it in software. Another aspect that has started bothering me about the mouse is that there lacks support for my ring and pinky fingers eventually leading to them cramping over long periods of use. This didn't happen in the first few months of using the mouse, so it would appear that this is a growing pain and in my opinion really hurts the ergonomics of the device. It's important to note however, that I palm my mice. If your mouse posture is to claw, then you may find this better suited for you.
This mouse is the best at this price range of around 2000 rupees. But when I talk about looks then the looks are great and gives a gamer look, but if you are someone who loves RGB effects then you might get disappointed because it has just a single blue colour lighting effects and those are also very few! And also if you’re someone who wants a simple non rgb mouse then this one is for you! The gaming sensor used is of great quality, the DPI can go up to 4000 which is great. It has 5 extra programmablebuttons. You can customise mouse according to your needs from a software called G-HUB. Overall this mouse is best at this range, when we talk about performance.
Still Using it, bought 10months ago ,not a single issue. Pros : everything is to good Cons: all programmablebuttons are effect on left side (where thumb rests ) so it may click upper button by mistake while using normally. A quiet long and big mouse for big hands it's good/okay I heard my friend had issue with their small palm to adjust with it. I use it for gaming and for normal use on regular basis.
Reviewing this after a year of daily use. Used G90 before this.
Starting with the ergonomics, the Logitech G402 does look attractive with all those curves, also making it very easy to hold on. The weight is just right (not customizable) and the wire doesn't add much inconvenience while using. Very rigid USB connector.
The left and right click are very tactile. They are tuned to trigger with different pressures - left click, requires a tad bit more pressure with your index finger and the right click, requires lesser pressure. This tuning just makes it perfect to use. There were no accidental clicks 95% of the time. There 5 other buttons on the mouse - 2 just beside the primary left click which are used for DPI switching, 1 on the top-left for shifting and finally 2 more for front and back operations by default though these can be programmable per game basis in the Logitech Gaming software. The mouse wheel is smooth enough to scroll effortlessly and has a satisfying click.
The DPI ranges from 250 to 4000. There is an illuminated 3-level DPI indicator. The DPI switching, shifting and defaults can be customized in the Logitech Gaming software. I have used this mouse on a low friction Logitech G440 hard-type mousepad and a Logitech G240 cloth-type mousepad. If you're buying this mouse or already own it, take my advice and go for G240. The G440 will damage the feet on the mouse anf they aren't cheap to replace. But, I must admit that the mouse trackd excellently on both mousepads thanks to the awesome delta-zero sensor. No sensor-rattle or tracking issues at all even at 4000 DPI. Personally, my use couldn't go beyond 150 IPS from the advertised 500 IPS.
There illuminated G logo can customized in the Logitech Gaming software but unfortunately it is only blue color. It can be set to constant or breathing effect with variable speeds. The brightness of this lighting can be changed but I must say that, when it is at it's full brightness constantly, it can br distracting sometimes.
Coming to why I gave 4 star rating: it is because of the materials Logitech has chosen for this product. This mouse will get dirty and ugly within 6 months of use, take my word fpr it. The left side is a matte finish and this will pick up a lot of dirt, scuffs and scratches. Also, I've noticed that my mouse feet got damaged at the edges after 9 months of usage or so. The last two pictures that I've attached are after 1 year of usage, for reference.
Great design, great grip, perfect sensor, tactile buttons, average matte finish. Overall, a great mouse if you can't afford the G502.
As the title says, that's what I bought this mouse for and it has absolutely no mouse acceleration, which is awesome for gaming. The mouse feels smooth and the poll rate is good at this price range. As a high dpi gamer, this mouse fulfilled all my needs. Only problem, is the lack of profiles and that the lower 2 programmablebuttons are hard to press while holding the mouse regularly. Overall it's worth the money.
Great mouse, awesome response time. This moise has a lot of features with programmable keys. You can also save multiple profiles for various applications on your pc. The only negetive point I see in this mouse is that there it does not treat the programmablebuttons as a button itself. It can only be programmed to perform specific functions only. Which is not that bad as there are multitudes of programming options.
This mouse is insanely good, ever since I started using it my amount of kills has gone up incredibly in matches! It has so many sensitivity settings, it's perfect for anyone. It also has programmablebuttons, which you can program for different controls for different games! The lights also add a very cool affect. I love this product and I have ben using it for a long time now and it has never given me any problems! I would highly recommend that you buy this mouse
