In summary, another great book that fans of the franchise and characters will absolutely love.
I didn't read it with her put had a quick flick through and the quirky drawings are up to the same high standard as the previous books in the series. Jeff Kinney has really created a brilliant franchise here with books that appeal to both boys and girls and have wonderful funny drawings to break up the text
This fabulous book is all about a long family adventure with the Heffleys, that doesn't really go the way Greg Heffley would expect it to.
This book would be perfect for all Diary of a wimpy kid book lovers like me.
Don't forget that No.10 in the series is coming out soon!
The long haul is about a family who decide to go on a road trip, but everything that could go wrong does. It made me laugh out loud sometimes as it was very funny and the whole road trip idea was an ultimate disaster!
But as I read through it I started to lose the point of the book and soon got a bit bored, it's still a good book though.
Most of these books are multi themed but this one is different, there's the same theme all the way throughout.
But saying that I have noticed the problem seems to get worse and worse.
The 10th is a whole lot better, I like the idea but I think there should be another theme apart from the road trip.
