I had this installed and was looking forward to getting some great ideas but, oh no, this is soooo bad I've already deleted it from my Kindle collection. A lot of the methods suggested fly in the face of good culinary practice so I'm questioning whether the author is actually a cook! Strikes me she's picking up recipes from goodness knows where and putting them together under an eye catching title. I am just so glad this was a Kindle freebie and I didn't part with any money for this atrocious book. You have been warned. PS: I should have read the reviews before even thinking of ordering!
I can't speak for the recipes, but I was disappointed that this is not a real book with pictures of the end result. It is just black printed recipes and instructions. Sometimes the pictures inspire more than anything. Also, help you with ideas around how to serve, or plate up from a presentation perspective.
Really poor. It's not paginated, there's no index and some of the print is missing, eg, on one of the pages towards the end there's a 'recipe' for Preserved lemon pasta which finishes abruptly mid-sentence. Avoid at all costs - really sorry I bought this, it was a total waste of money!
It's an ok book but not as usueful as I was hoping for. The write up made me think it was going to be better than it actually is, for me personally. No doubt others will find it excellent and that's fine by me.
What a total waste of money! I could do better myself! Using all these prepared sauces and soups is disgraceful. Cooking spinach, delicate prawns and chicken breasts for hours is a definite no-no. Who is responsible for this rubbish? I am sorry I spent hard-earned cash on this.
