4.0 out of 5 stars Fun fiction with nonfiction features.

Our six and nine year old love flicking through this. Every page starts with a question and then gives the answers from the comics and cartoons. It presents the answers as facts so this could help them with nonfiction text features on a subtle way. Every page uses black and white illustrations of the characters. Key words are in bold and the tricky ones get a glossary definition at the back. There's an index too so good for help with alphabetical order skills. A fun book that they can casually flick through. Good if they are reluctant readers too. Great!
