To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

It might have not bundled up to your expectations by the end but it did have a face to the character everyone wanted to know about from Letters to the Lost and that right there is enough to ganer a four star review.

Everyone has there own issues. Some more than others.
It is hard to solve or go through with your own problems without making mistakes but it is harder to understand what others around you are going through without com
pletely breaking down and making the wrong choices.
This story not only highlights what every teen faces such as trust issues, stress, depression, bullying and first love.
This book is one that helps people see life in a different perspective and helps them to go through with some of the challanges one might be facing.
It is an amazing read.

Rev and Emma, two people with broken life come together and try to find happiness in each other. The story is good, the narration is amazing and the characters come to life.
Overall a good book to enjoy your freedom time.

Very good "follow up"
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 May 2018Verified Purchase
I loved "Letters to the lost" and when I saw there was a second book in the series I had to order it right away! This is a very original "follow up" book, because it's not exactly "what happens next" to the main characters but what happens next to Rev, one of the secondary characters of "Letters to the lost". Emma is introduced in this book. I found the process original and a great way to "keep in touch" with characters I loved (Declan especially) without that feeling of "the author went too far away and ruined it".
This story was in my opinion slightly less well constructed than the first installment, especially Emma's relationship with her parents, but still has what I loved most about "Letters to the lost": the feelings and thoughts of the characters are described in a way that makes the connection easily; with very accurate words but not exaggerations. It's very empathic. I also love the friendships in this book, including the way Texas the dog make friends with everybody... it's heartwarming. Another important note, I personally appreciate a book that can discuss very heavy and difficult subject without becoming too graphic or violent.

Rev is king.

Oh how I wish Amazon would let me put a half star because this a clear 4.5 star read for me! I loved this book, massive thanks to the ladies at the YALC stall who convinced me that I should buy it, you were so right!
Rev Fletcher, one of the most heartbreaking characters I have ever read. The depth of his character was wonderful to read, he leapt off the page and into my heart. His story was gut wrenchingly sad, and unfortunately so believable. I had no idea this was a second book, so I hadn't met Rev before, and I think thats what made the story all the more enjoyable. His friendship with Declan was precious, and by far the highlight of the book for me. Declan was so kind and thoughtful, even when faced with his own crap. I loved the two of them together.
Emma is the reason why I couldn't give this a full 5 stars. She was quite hard to click with because her selfish problems were just so insignificant in the grand scheme of things, and she was acting as though a few horrible, rude comments online from a stranger was on par with horrendous child abuse... That being said, I did eventually start to enjoy her own story arc, (view spoiler)
I loved the addition of Matt, Rev's foster brother, and the relationship that developed slowly between the two boys, was wonderful to read. I can't recommend this one enough, it was such a good mix of heartbreaking and warming! I now need to bump book one up my TBR!!

Absolutely captivating and stunning, a must read!

I first heard of Brigid Kemmerer when finding her book “Letters to the Lost”. I was on vacation and read in in a couple of hours! I just couldn’t put it down! It was crazy! When I saw that she was writing a new book, I was so excited! When it finally was able to order, I ordered “More Than We Can Tell” and also went through it in a very short amount of time! It captivated me and since it had been quite some time between LTTL and this one, I didn’t realize that the book was about THAT Rev from LTTL, I was so excited when I finally figured that out after a few chapters and I loved that Declan and Juliet also appeared!
As someone who has dealt with being “bullied” online and got send hateful and disgusting messages I deeply connected with Emma and her story! It was absolutely captivating and stunning and I am madly in love with the way Brigid writes her stories! I would highly recommend this book to everyone who loves YA-novels or just great books with great plots in general! This gets 5 Starts (I would give it more if I could!). Can’t wait for more of her work!

So many feelings

I recently read "Letters To The Lost" and I was so intrigued Rev I had to read his book. This book had characters full of pain. At times I felt frustrated with them and almost shouting at them to make them realise their mistakes. But I would absolutely recommend this book and this author.

YOU HAVE TO READ THIS IT’S AMAZING

LOVE THIS BOOK. I’m 25 years old and hadn’t read a book since school. I got Brigid’s ‘Letters To The Lost’ book for Christmas, gave it a whirl and was immediately gripped. If you’ve read ‘Letters To The Lost’, reading this is a must! Enjoyed every minute of the twists and turns of Rev Fletcher’s adolescents. Every time I finish one of her Brigid’s books, I just want more!
