A murder has been committed and another could be at any moment. A fortune has gone missing, a map has mysteriously appeared and something is frightening the children at night. All is in confusion and the only thing for certain is that a detective is needed, but the first detective got a glimpse of what the children are afraid of and left without so much as a word.
There are times when it becomes clear that a different sort of detective is needed; one who understands or at least accepts that threats are not always human or even physical and that solving the case will take more than a sharp eye. This is the domain of the Occult Detective.
Literary history is rich with great Occult Detectives and A Grimoire of Eldritch Inquests seeks to honor and add to them as many of today's most talented Occult Detective authors offer their original tales. Steeped in tradition but with a modern edge, the first of two volumes presents 22 tales of monsters, magic and mystery investigated by those that book their trade by it.

Update (04/23/2015): Two bonus illustrations added to the World War Cthulhu ebook edition!
The world is at war against things that slink and gibber in the darkness, and titans that stride from world to world, sewing madness and death. War has existed in one form or another since the dawn of human civilization, and before then, Elder terrors battled it out across this planet and this known universe in ways unimaginable.
It has always been a losing battle for our side since time began. Incidents like the Innsmouth raid, chronicled by H.P. Lovecraft, mere blips of victory against an insurmountable foe. Still we fight, against these incredible odds, in an unending nightmare, we fight, and why? For victory, for land, for a political ideal? No, mankind fights for survival.
Our authors, John Shirley, Mark Rainey, Wilum Pugmire, William Meikle, Tim Curran, Jeffrey Thomas and many others have gathered here to share war stories from the eternal struggle against the darkness. This book chronicles these desperate battles from across the ages, including Roman Britain, The American Civil War, World War Two, The Vietnam Conflict, and even into the far future.
This ebook edition features 22 interior illustrations (one accompanying each story)

Ugly Babies
14 Jan, 2014
₹ 218.30
There’s nothing quite like the birth of a child. Children are born in our likenesses... we treasure their beauty, their innocence, and marvel as they take their first breaths outside of their mother’s womb. In a perfect world, babies are miracles. But as we know, the world is not always perfect.
JWK Fiction brings you a collection of poetry, flash fiction and short stories dealing with beginnings that maynot be as rosy as everyone around us often seems to think newborns are.

Cellar Door... Linguists call it the most beautiful phrase in the English language based solely on the way it sounds. But as you can imagine, what it represents may be something far more sinister. In a spectacular display of poetry, artwork, fiction, and photography, the talent of fifty contributors is showcased within these pages. Voices from behind cellar doors all over the world come together in unison to whisper in your ear...can you hear them? Are they knocking on your cellar door? Edited by James Ward Kirk, each piece in this anthology has a beautiful title intrinsically connected to the tale that follows, and a door will be the common theme which connects the widely varied styles, genres, and stories told. Will you take your chances and find what's lurking behind your cellar door? This second volume of tales continues the tradition: Words of Beauty, Tales of Terror.
