About the Author

Scott Westerfeld is the author of the Leviathan series, the first book of which was the winner of the 2010 Locus Award for Best Young Adult Fiction. His other novels include the bestselling Uglies series, The Last Days, Peeps, So Yesterday, and the Midnighters trilogy.

Margo Lanagan's story collection, Red Spikes, was a Publishers Weekly Best Book and a Horn Book Fanfare, and Black Juice was a Printz Honor Book. She lives in Sydney, Australia.

Deborah Biancotti is an Australian writer of speculative fiction. Biancotti was born in 1971 in Queensland, Australia. She has won two Aurealis Awards and two Ditmar Awards, and is now based in Sydney.

Amber Benson cocreated, cowrote, and directed the animated supernatural web series Ghosts of Albion. She is the author of Witchery, Accursed, and the novella Astray. As an actress, she has appeared in dozens of roles in feature films, TV movies, and television series, including the role of Tara Maclay on three seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson also wrote, produced, and directed the feature films Chance and Lovers, Liars, and Lunatics.

After reading Zeroes and falling in love with it, I read Swarm, and I was disappointed
That was until I found out there was a third book, I took some initiative and reread the first 2, it turns out I actually loved Swarm, I just forgot a lot about what happened, and apparently never even properly read the end

Once I got Nexus, I was very excited, new powers, new goals, and more adventures with the Zeroes
The book takes some very interesting takes on powers. Including more powers, powers levelling up, turning inside out, and meeting more powered people in general. Including mysterious plans a very special Zero has in New Orleans that could change the world.

Overall I rate the book 5/5, and the series as a whole 5/5, the details were spectacular as always, uses of powers interesting, unique, and always done well. And most importantly, it ends the story in a very unexpected, but satisfying way. In particular it helped wrapping up a mysterious question about one of my favorite characters.

Are you serious, I use it for firewood isn't that its intended purpose? Lol Come on it's for reading and my Son enjoys reading. I only wish I had time and his passion for reading. It was a great book for him. He took only one day along with his other activities, to read this book. With my obligation I have taken a couple of weeks to read it. It give me as a father raising a child alone great pride seeing him have such passion for reading. He started out with great difficulty in this world. He's overcome it an excelled in all he does. What a true gift from God he is to me. To see a positive effect and never looking back at his challenges, he has truly accomplished his goals .
