From the internationally bestselling author of Netflix's hottest new show, One of Us is Lying, comes a new, page-turning thriller . . .
True crime can leave a false trail.
Four years ago, Brynn left Saint Ambrose School following the shocking murder of her favourite teacher. The case was never solved, but she's sure that the three kids who found Mr. Larkin's body know more than they're telling, especially her ex-best friend Tripp Talbot. He's definitely hiding something.
When Brynn gets an internship working on a popular true-crime show, she decides to investigate what really happened that day in the woods. But the further she dives into the past, the more secrets she finds.
Four years ago someone got away with murder. Now it's time to uncover the truth . . .

•
Karen McManus books are those easy to fall in YA Thrillers that are perfect for those times when you just want to get lost in a fictional world and ignore your reality.
•
In Nothing More To Tell, we have, Brynn who is finally back to her previous school after five blissful years - she didn’t want to come back; but she has no choice. The only good thing on the horizon is her intern interview with “Motive” a true crime show.
•
On the other hand, we have Tripp, once a close friend of Brynn but was responsible for an incident that created a gap between them.
•
We also have the j solved murder of a beloved school teacher, the murder Brynn used to get an interview with the show and why she starts talking to Tripp again.
•
Okay. Tbh, this was quintessential Karen McManus book - you have dual POVs, almost every chapter has a new reveal and it is fun to actually put the clues together to get to the actual real story.
•
But yes, if you haven’t read her books; then I would suggest do NOT read all of her books together. They do tend to read similarly and you wouldn’t be able to enjoy them as much as you can, if you read them with time and space in between.

4 years later since she left that school, she gets an internship in a true crime podcast show. She decides to investigate this case as she is going back to that school. And she starts uncovering new truths...
This book was so addictive and fast paced that I could not put this book down. Brynn and Tripp together were unraveling new truths and I could not stop turning the pages.
I enjoyed the friendship dynamic between Tripp, Shane and Charlotte. It was not a wholesome friendship group mind you. It was a toxic friend group if anything but the dynamic between the three was so weird and interesting.
But I did love Tripp and Brynn's friendship though. It felt very genuine and wholesome.
My only complaint about this book is the reveal of the main killer. There is no solid explanation as to who the real murderer is. Brynn makes a theory and confronts it to that person but that person denies. On top of that there is no real proof as to if that person is the killer. Brynn's theory makes sense but there is no investigation that proofs that Brynn's theory is true. So in all, it was an unsatisfactory conclusion.
But still despite that, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I'd highly recommend it if you enjoy reading mystery thrillers!
Brynn Gallagher is a teenager who's an aspiring journalist, and now she's back in her old town uncovering the secrets concerning the murder of her favourite teacher four years back. I absolutely loved Brynn. She's a n
no-nonsense kinda protagonist who sticks to her business despite all odds being hurled at her. And, I also loved Tripp. He's quite the conventional, popular-guy, teenager but he eventually proves to be so much more than that.
I literally flew through this one. Read it really fast and I wasn't expecting that, especially after the disappointment that her last book was. The plot was really unpredictable, going around in circles, so it was really fun to decipher the whodunit game. The suspense stretches along to the very epilogue. Also, there are references to the other mysteries from McManus' other titles, so it's gonna be fun for those who read the. If you're into YA thrillers, this one's definitely going to be worth a late night rendezvous!

Nothing more to tell again doesn’t disappoint. It follows Karen’s usual style of writing, with the story told from the perspective of Brynn, a student journalist who begins investigating her teachers murder for years previously, and Tripp, Brynn’s best friend and who also found the teachers body. We follow the murder mystery and it becomes apparent all is not as it seems shall we say!
I found this another great read and thoroughly enjoyed the book! My only small gripe would be the fact we don’t actually find out for definite who killed Mr Larkin, it is only implied and the ending is vague. I’m someone who likes a book to tie up the loose ends and have a definitive ending.
Can’t wait for Karen's next book!

Twisty turny
A mostly engaging read with a more normal protagonist than I've read in some of McManus' plots before. Byrnn was a returner to a fancy prep school she left four years ago and while she had a cool, sarcastic streak she was over-enthusatic and gung-ho about investigating that death of her favourite teacher. This was a cold case brought to life Brynn stepped on some rather delicate eggshells of issues and relationships.
The whole plotline of Tripp's family was the most interesting to me, warts and all. That said, the shady side of the teacher's family was gripping too. I liked how both those elements played out.
McManus always walks a delicate line between a raft of unlikeable characters and a couple who are investable enough to keep you reading with some love rather than hate. Nothing More To Tell really did test my mettle with so many shady or generally awful personalities but it sure makes things interesting.
I'm not rounding up on this one but it was an easy and entertaining read.

This is another showstopper by the brilliant Queen of Teen Crime! About a girl who, when she thirteen, found out her teacher at school was found dead and three of her classmates, one of them being her then-best friend, were found at the scene so she comes back four years later to investigate what happened.
Brilliant book with multiple twists and turners - a usual for Karen's books. Only gripe is that the ending is left ambiguous rather than you finding out what truly happened.
Would recommend. Brilliant!
