4.0 out of 5 stars Not so good ending...
By Reader from a star on 20 December 2018
The shiva triology... A great fiction with roots in hindu mythology... This book is not so new for book lovers and those who are not new le'me tell in India it is one of the very famous book.
The mighty god of gods and devils and everything the mighty pashupati is reimagined as a common MAN... Yes it was something new for readers which made this book become a bestseller in less time.
The story is well narrated I would not spoil your experience telling anything but I may recommend this book... But but but there is one thing that even if the gods are re imagined as common people then also the end should be a happy one... If you are familiar with story of lord shiva then, we know that parvati ( his wife) gives up her body in Daksha (her father) yagya... Now this is where the book disapoints me... The third part "oath of vayuputras" didn't pleased me as the 1st and 2nd part... But still I enjoyed the journey of a man god.
All the character and qualities are fitted very nicely in fictional character also.
If you want to enjoy this book really... Then just don't relate the fictional characters to real gods... Or you won't enjoy and also you won't be able to digest the story.

4.0 out of 5 stars The last part of The Trilogy is awesome.

SHIVA TRILOGY
Written by Amish Tripathi
This was the first series of books that I read one after another back to back.
This entire series contains total three books,
i.e.
1☞THE IMMORTALS OF MELUHA (1st book)
2☞THE SECRET OF THE NAGAS (2nd book)
3☞THE OATH OF THE VAYUPUTRAS (3rd book).
Obviously this series is a mythological fiction.
This entire series has everything like thrill, mystery, obviously a lot of action, adventure, some times comedy, tragedy & many more things, which make this book a perfect read for everyone.
I spent almost the entire august with this books, they were damn good & attractive. And obviously a page flipper without any doubt.
Basically I heard a lot about this books therefore I had started reading it & i'm not disappointed at all.
This is obviously not a review, i'll share my review regarding every single book of this series ASAP.
I really like everything about the book like the plot, storytelling, writing style etc.
I would say,, everyone should read the 1st book atleast, because I'm pretty sure that after reading the first book nobody can resist himself/herself from buying the next book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Speechless. Loved it!
By Harshit Sharma on 17 June 2020
After turning someone like me who despised reading books into an occasional reader, I feel sad that I have finally run out of books written by Amish.
Yes, I have gone through all his books that are out yet. That would be the Ram Chandra series and the Shiva trilogy and his non-fictional Immortal india.
Without disclosing anything about the book, I will only say if you have gone through any of Amish’s work and liked it, you will enjoy this one too, and dearly so.
If you are a newbie in Amish’s books, dont start with this one. The sequence here makes more sense than it does in the Ram series.
Thank you dear author for putting this series together.
Thanks.
Highly recommended.
Super fast delivery & secure packaging from Amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must read..!!
By Deepa Biswas on 27 June 2019
✔️Third and the final book in Shiva Trilogy is 'The Oath Of The Vayuputras.' After looking at the number of pages I thought it would take me quite more time to finish but when I started reading I wasn't able to stop reading. It took me only few days to complete. This book is so amazingly written.

✔️In this book Shiva reaches the Naga capital and finally the evil is revealed. Shiva prepares for a holy war against his true enemy, a man whose name instils dread in the fiercest of warriors.

✔️Shiva reaches Pariha, the land of fairies, to the ones who have never offered any help to him: the Vayuputras.

✔️Will Shiva succed to take out the evil out of equation? Will Shiva take the right decision for the future of India? How will Shiva succeed and who are on the side of the Lord Neelkanth?

Om Namah Shivaiy.🙏
The universe bows to Lord Shiva. I bow to Lord Shiva.🙏
