nother slice-of-the-life read by Sudha Murty...just love her style of reading...all the stories are straight from the heart and can be easily related to...she definitely is one of my top-authors! 2 of her books are pending and can't stop to start reading them! --Nishant Jha Mar 26, 2013
we all heard those stories from our grandmother/father, this is just an interpretation in modern day life and the lessons we learn. Mrs.Murthy is great... --Deepak Sahu Mar 23, 2015

One cannot classify this book into one particular genre. Is it a fiction or self help book or a book which has elements of joy, sorrow and amusement? Well, thats the beauty of her work. It comes down to the interpretation of the reader.
Do buy a copy of her books esp these short stories: You will be glad you bought.
I have utmost respect for Mrs. Sudha Murty for putting out all the emotions of her heart stirred with her "hard to ignore" Wit, into this incredulous Book. It has a perfect balance of all the Human Emotions with a few rare Iconic Scenes from the lives of different people.
She is one of my favourite Indian Authors. The Theme of this book is almost similar to her previous works like "The Day I stopped Drinking Milk" and "Wise & Otherwise", its just that these stories are more concentrated on the Topic of Spirituality & Religion. Nonetheless, it is a Must have if you like Short Stories!
Simple life incidents but it can leave you in deep thoughts..even the language used is a little better than her other books.. will help you to increase your vocabulary..:)
Would love to have her venturing into Indian Puranic tales or folklore.
