2.0 out of 5 stars Not up to the mark. Would recommend not buying this one.
By Akanksha on 3 May 2021
The pages are really thin. If you know how penguin classics paperbacks have their pages you won't buy this. The print it small but readable not much issue there. The annotations are at the back. The font is same throughout the book which makes the reading unpleasant. font should have been different for the poem.
This book contains the whole poem. I would recommend buying other print than this. And there are plenty of explanations on the internet which perhaps are better than what this book includes.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed by this book
By Angel bidla on 11 November 2021
This is my first classic book from penguin. I am disappointed by the book cover. This cover looks very old.
- Reading this book for beginners is like hell. You can not understand the writing. It's not an Normal English. You have to good words to understand them. This book is in notes. Like 1. 2. Etc... It's written in a poem form.

John milton and his amazing mind is created a magical place in shape of a poem. The vision is great. Worth reading. The notes is usefull to understand and helpful to the scholars. But i think that penguin is need to improve their paper quality.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent purchase.
By Sanhita Baidya on 29 August 2021
Bought for studying. Haven't read it yet. But the notes at the very end of the book look promising. It arrived in a decent condition. There are few scratches on the cover and it looks a bit old, but it's not something to complain about. Bought this at 182.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing

New Penguin cloth-bound edition - not great quality tbh.
Pages are made from paper so thin it’s possible to see the print on the page overleaf coming through.
This volume came with a sticky label (why?) which removed some of the pattern when it came off - see photo. I’m keeping this for myself but if it was a gift I would not have been happy.
No idea why this volume had a sticky label when another bokok in the clothbound series I ordered came with a cardboard label.....(see other pic)
