By rahul s. on 30 November 2020
Although the story is great and my daughter is loving it but the binding of the book is not proper . As she is turning page many pages have come out and many other are loose . I have bought many books from Amazon for my daughter, this is the first time I have faced such a problem .

3.0 out of 5 stars Good read but in tattered pages
By Vidya Pinto on 28 December 2020
While the book was an engaging read, the quality of the book was pathetic. Ten minutes into reading the pages started coming out. Surprised that such a pathetic production quality is from Harper Collins.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor and sloppy
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 July 2020
This book is so poorly written with such ridiculously complicated names in it and odd story line. It just wasn't very funny and surprisingly for a children's book it actually had a swear word in it. Sloppy and proof that not everyone can make the transition to author. I certainly won't be buying anymore of Dabid Baddiel's books for my kids.

I'm amending this review and have marked it down a star as I've remembered some additional things that I disliked - complicated and repeated references to gambling and a fixation on James Bond, which are films I personally love, but require knowledge the demographic of this book wouldn't necessarily have. My 8 year old son tried to read the book to himself but he had so many questions around name pronunciation and the random references to things, I'm now having to read it to him in a stop start way as we unpack the different ideas. Be glad when it's finished
