Product description

Review

“Talia’s humor and uplifting energy are as nourishing as her creative plant-based recipes. This cookbook will definitely make you laugh, relate, feel great, and love eating plants.”—Terry Walters, bestselling author of Clean Food

"Come for the laughs, stay for the Cauliflower Pizza Poppers, along with more than 100 other delicious recipes! Party in Your Plants is an exuberant celebration of eating healthier and living better in every way. Plant-based eating has never been so fun."—Julie Morris, New York Times bestselling author of Superfood Kitchen

“I love Talia’s message about being healthy and happy, eating well and not giving too many f*cks about it. The last thing you need is more anxiety, shame, and guilt about your diet—or to be forced into seclusion by its limitations. Plant-based or not, we can all use a fun, informative, empathetic approach to eating, and Party in Your Plants delivers all that with chia seeds on top.”—Sarah Knight, New York Times bestselling author of The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*ck

"Party in Your Plants makes plant-based eating fun, accessible, and hilarious. I want an invite to Talia's party and a fridge full of these creative, delicious, and nourishing recipes."—Neal Harden, executive chef of abcV

“If you’re new to plant-based cooking and enjoy food with humor, Talia's got it! Her recipes are delicious, simple, and no fuss, yet make you feel like you know what you're doing when you prepare them. She also shares her perspective on what healthy means—more flexibility and no judgment—which is something we can all embrace more of.”—McKel Kooienga, MS, RDN, LDN, Nutrition Stripped

“Talia is not a domestic goddess—in the best possible way. She’s the Amy Schumer of cooking: an entirely hilarious, relatable guide who just so happens to know her way around a head of cauliflower. The advice and recipes in Party in Your Plants will have you laughing more, cooking more, and doing more good for your body in less time than it takes you to pronounce ‘açaí.’”—Phoebe Lapine, author of The Wellness Project

“There’s a Party in Your Plants that you didn’t even know existed and it’s so great you’re going to want to share it with your friends! It’s time to get over the bland, boring, seemingly lifeless world of healthy eating. This book is bringing sexy eating back in vibrant technicolors, with matching flavors to boot. The best part is that delicious and healthy can actually be fun and easy! Stop what you’re doing and snag this book. It’s time to Party in Your Plants!”—Dr. Will Bulsiewicz, gastroenterologist, gut health expert, and author of Fiber Fueled

“Reading this book is like sitting down over a matcha latte with your very hilarious girlfriend who just so happens to have a bunch of hot tips about how to live a healthier life. I'm lucky to call Talia a friend and we've spent many hours chatting over matcha lattes, so I can attest that I that her true, authentic, always humorous, always relatable voice shines through every page of this book. Her advice is straightforward, her food is delicious and you're guaranteed to feel inspired by recipes and writing.”—Ilene Godofsky Moreno, author of The Colorful Kitchen

'This book is a pure delight! I'm obsessed with the laugh-out-loud commentary and the hundreds of tips and tricks that make it clear how fun and simple a wellness-minded lifestyle can be. The recipes themselves are utterly delicious and pass my "Tuesday night test," meaning any home cook can enjoy them on a typical weeknight. Perfect for anyone ready to lean into the idea that good-for-you food isn't about deprivation, and actually brings more joy to your life."—Liz Moody, host of the Healthier Together podcast and author of Healthier Together  --This text refers to the paperback edition.

So far i've made soups(cauliflower soup pictured), smoothies and a couple of the snack balls and zoodles. Easy vegetarian meals and snacks my picky teens enjoyed without complaint - and I was able to use the provided suggestion for subs (eg. garlic powder for real garlic, almond milk for coconut milk, etc). The photos are begging me to make more, can't wait!
