Review
"Combining the sarcasm and wit of Percy Jackson with the original Greek myths is a great way to hook tweens and teens on the stories without boring them. The beautiful illustrations by John Rocco enhance each story. . ."―VOYA
"The age-old stories are endlessly strong, resonant, and surprising, while the telling here is fresh, irreverent, and amusing. Percy's voice. . . John Rocco illustrates the myths with drama, verve, and clarity. A must-have addition to the Percy Jackson canon."―Booklist Online --This text refers to an alternate kindle_edition edition.

Rick Riordan has a great talent of making even the dry aspects of mythology a whole lot more engaging even when it's not in novel form such as this particular book.

P.S message from daughter I love this book because percy jackson is the one who Rick riodan made is kinda read the book to you.

He is creative. The plot of each book is full of action, drama, emotion, suspense and has the the turns a story base on mythology should have.
My only complaint, if you could say it so is that he uses American way of living more than a myth could afford.
