With a nice textured finish, the hardcover quality is excellent. It does not have a dust jacket but thats fine as the cover design is great. Well binded and neatly printed, the book does feel nice to see and hold. For size reference, I have placed the book on a 10 inch tablet.
I heard about The Prophet in 1975 from my girlfriend and I read it in years 2019 .
His words are like a philosophical interpretation of life and it's different aspects .
I enjoyed reading KHALIL ZIBRAN who has some great teachings for the world in the language they can understand .
Thank you kindle

Let there be spaces in your togetherness, And let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Fill each other's cup but drink not from one cup. Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf. Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone, Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music. Give your hearts, but not into each other's keeping. For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts. And stand together, yet not too near together: For the pillars of the temple stand apart, And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other's shadow
Spelling mistakes and seems more like photocopied pages stuck together. Wish I’d paid the extra £2 for a tidy copy. Will be returning.
But it is not a story book, and can not be treated as one.
over and over again. Wonderful insight and pragmatism. A lovely way of looking at the world, situations and people.
