The main characters of the novel are Pooja and Aarush, who come from very different cultures, philosophies, and traditions. Aarush, who was raised in Britain, visits India and meets Pooja while there. They both fell in love with each other and now have to deal with unimportant circumstances. Love internally transforms a person. Anyone in love must accept the other person in all circumstances, whether favourable or unfavourable. The same is true for Pooja and Aarush, who must endure much tougher circumstances and develop enough to handle them correctly.
