3.0 out of 5 stars I don't think this is new copy!!
By Riana Rai on 25 October 2020
I just received the package... I'm really very excited to embark on this journey 'cuz I've heard nothing but good reviews of the book and this is also my first Alice Oseman novel .. so , Yeah ..
I'm not gonna write the review of the book over here but it'll sure be up on goodreads after I'm done with this... I really think Cloudtail should start selling un-used copies since we're paying so much for the new edition!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly remarkable portrayal of teenage
By Ishika Sinha on 6 July 2021
Frances is the head girl of her school. The perfection. The girl who has it all sorted. But even the best people on the outside can have a secret. Her secret is a YouTube Podcast. A podcast she's obsessed with. Frances also doodles and makes art but for the world she's a boring, geeky, and tedious girl with no hobbies. After her accidental encounter with Aled at a party where he's too drunk to be in his senses, Frances is faced with a secret of Aled as well. Will that change things for the better or worse?
Frances also has a dreadful past she's running from. A past that concerns Aled's twin sister Carys who has disappeared now. Can Frances confront her own demons and win over them?

The narrative of Radio Silence is unique, charming, and thoughtful. Transcripts of the Radio Silence podcast are present as well to give us a deep insight into the mind of the creator. While I was reading it, I went back to my adolescent days as well when getting good grades and a good college was all that mattered and perhaps we all exhausted ourselves too much in the process. Radio Silence made me realise how none of it matters at the end. All that matters is your interest, love, and passion for what you do.

4.0 out of 5 stars Unique YA Novel
By paperbacktomes on 23 August 2021
My Rating: 3.5/5
If you ask me what I see in this book, I’d say it’s diverse and cuts across gender, friendship, family, peer, and other social issues seen around us. I like reading unique YA stories, and I’m happy to add this book to that list. Many YA books separate social issues from romance or friendship. Radio Silence fused all of them to give us a compelling story. I’d have given this book 3 stars, but the last few chapters were the reason why I had to add another 0.5 to it.
Sometimes unexpected friends are a blessing in disguise. Aled didn’t shut his door on Frances, and that made him see life differently. Who knew life could be made more exciting and bearable with one person by your side. Here’s to more friendships, found family, and life!

5.0 out of 5 stars If you're lost, read this.
By Jose v.t on 3 November 2020
I absolutely loved this book. To begin with, the characters Aled Last and Frances Janvier are so relatable. Throughout the book, we feel Frances and her internal struggles, we wish we could help her somehow, and at times, it made me want to hug her tight. As for Aled, I just wish to tell him how much of a sweetheart is.

Trust me. This is a coming of age novel that you need to read, especially if you're nearing your university or college admissions. It gives insight into the reality of education systems, family relationships, sexualities and identities, and moreover, it helps us to listen to our own voice.

Alice Oseman has a fluid writing style. You flow with it. The pages flip without you even noticing it. I'd been in a reading slump for months. It took me no time to read this. It's 400 pages, but the story drags you in.

This review was written while I was still in the hangover. I still feel like I'm in the story. With Radio. With Aled. With Frances. But more than everything, with myself.
