Redgear L-Claw White LED Mechanical Keyboard.
Purity, Simplicity, Clarity, Serenity.
This is like the woman who you can finally settle down with
after all the razzle dazzle.
This is like having homemade food.
A glass of cold fresh juice. A bowl of thick hot soup.
White LED- Like a night full of stars, like fireflies in the dark.
Buy it sometime and experience the sublime!
- A good product for the price. Personally I prefer the sober single coloured back light over the "diwali" lighting of its siblings(mk1000 etc).
- Good clicky keys. Has made coding/typing a joy. (Might be too loud for people sleeping nearby XD)
- Back light brightness is a bit low. Although, it does the job in the dark.
- Build quality is good. Comes with braided cables as well.
- Sometimes I do face delays in click registration. However, that is not frequent(and i have doubts on the IDE).
At this price point, it's just that.
Keys- Kailh blue, little louder than cherry mx, but if you don't switch between those two often, it probably won't bither you.
Key caps- worst aspect of this keyboard. Too wobbly, no stabilization at all. Makes it even louder.
RGB- no, only white, which I love honestly. It's not pure white though. It's a slight purple-ish white. But it's actually better than any other mechanical keyboard at this price. Rather than those fixed rainbow colour scheme just with different sequences, you get plain white with 3 fixed mode & 3 customisable lighting mode. The 2nd image is my custom game mode. There's also 6 types of lighting type that you can switch as can be seen in the video. Best thing is- no software needed at all, everything is accessible from the keyboard alone. Figuring it out at first could be confusing but it's alright.
Build- good. Metallic plate on top, quite thick. Not much flex. Sturdy. But it's also heavy. Doesn't bother me much though because I mostly use it for gaming. Comes with a braided cable also.
Gaming- not so much a gaming keyboard. It doesn't have dedicated multimedia keys or macro key. To use multimedia or macro you have press FN then keys to make it work. It does support macros though.
Tl;dr- Good enough as an entry level mechanical keyboard without irritating fixed rainbow LEDs. Go for it if you have a low budget yet want a good mechanical keyboard.
The switches feel nice and clicky, they're loud as expected. Really great for the price. Buy it if you're getting it for 2k, it's a steal.
