The shade is far more pink than mauve, though it does have a faint mauve ting. That said, I liked the smooth texture, and the color. It's the sort of lipstick you can quickly apply and step out of home for a short errand. The color is not jarring, and it can used as a daily, day lipstick. For night wear, you'll need something darker.
On the downside, as others have pointed out, it doesn't last long. One cup of coffee, and you need to re-apply it.
Go ahead and buy it if - (1) you like pink shades (2) you want a soothing day color, and not something bright that stands out and (3) you're not particular about the fact that it's not a long-lasting lipstick.

I liked the product and Amazon delivery but I received damaged product, there is one small scratch mark on the lipstick itself which may in future break the lipstick..I tried to return it but they are saying can't return or replace this item. Now what to do, feeling sad.
