This is my first book. I started to have a habit of reading book, this book gave me a great satisfaction and attracted me much. So i will read as many as books as i can. --dinesh Kumar on 07 Feb 2015
This book is a new edition of the original one with new cover page. Rest everything is the just the same. Coming to the book, the book is awesome. The story is narrated in a simple manner and that's the best part of the book. The story is very heat touching. Everyone reading it can relate himself to the story in one way or the another. The book ending may not be liked by many, but then that is what generally happens in real life! My verdict - Go For It!! --Rishabh Kumar on 06 Feb 2015
All the time now Revolution 2020 moves around my mind. If i would have been in Gopal's place i would have played my cards well & would have achieved the Hierarchy, but Gopal doesn't. This makes me think in today's scenario is there any person who will sacrifice his love, opportunies??? I cant say any thing more, because i'm speechless after reading this. --By Aamir Zafar Khan on 29 March 2015 --This text refers to an alternate kindle_edition edition.

What a story!! Really a great work Chetan Sir..
As the tagline says 'Love Corruption Ambition' -- there is their exact and splendid portrayal. He very finely expresses every feeling of the heart. The book keeps you hooked from the first page to the last.
If you are searching something on love and friendship you are at the best place. You will love reading the book again and again.
I have read all the books of Chetan Bhagat and this is definitely the best one! Eagerly waiting to watch it as a film.

as the things have been always so complicated with me, I found this complicated story as mine, Life has always have its plan for us, no matter what we did or do to get whatever we want but sometimes life has its own plan, Gopal is the one who wanted to get everything in life, but he doesn't get everything except money and status, life is always incomplete without love, Gopal too suffered with that kind of stuff. sometimes it's too hard to sacrifice and when it comes to sacrifice your love, you really need guts, I feel proud for him when he took the decision of sacrificing his infinite love for Aarti...
a nice but a complicated read...

This is the first time I red CB's book..I didn't feel anything like boring or wanted to skip any page.. while reading I felt someone sitting next to me and telling the story. Gopal represent middle class boy in every Indian house, narration doesn't make you feel bore even one second.. In every middle class family home boys inside there s Gopal, who want make parents proud, Earn money, get girl they loved but some other reason thy fail to achieve that... If you keep Gopal character in your mind when you fail in life you can motivate yourself and achieve anything..

According to me, It's Cheatan Bhagwat's best novel till now. Gopal, with whom every educated loser can relate themselves, is undoubtedly my hero. With whom Aarti will go kept me restless, and made me read this novel in one day. It did remind me my days as a loser and felt quite dejected. This novel has some fabulous quotes, and my favourite one is -"some times the only way to get rid of an unpleasant feeling is to replace it with another unpleasant feeling".

Sometimes in life there are things that you do and in hindsight think that whether you could have reacted differently to the situation. Revolution 2020 is one such story that Chetan Bhagat would think and feel if he had written it differently. The premise is nothing new that we haven't heard or read about.. Love triangle, Rags to Riches story , Fighting against corrupt system and so on. All put together and mixed with a back drop of the picturesque Varnasi should ideally result in good entertainment, alas, this one doesn't.
Chetan Bhagat's stories are generally riddled with humor but this one unfortunately doesn't even venture into that space. All in all an average read.

I finished this awesome masterpiece in 2 days. I am not going to boil down the book as you can find it anywhere on Internet. I am not much of a reader but one of my friend somehow manages to coax me and it is really worth it. I don't know if I am overeating this but I think it deserves this. It is a perfect mixture of love, friendship and sacrifice. I am able to relate some incidents with my life. You will start the book with a smile on your face and end up with tears. The ending left me stunned as I never expected that. I would definitely recommend it..

Another good read from Chetan Bhagat, throwing a spotlight onto the endemic corruption in India, throughout everyday life and, particularly in politics.
It also illustrates the intensely competitive nature of the Indian education system and the huge pressure on students to perform and get ahead of the crowd.
Good tale well told.

Another brilliantly written book by Chetan Bhagat, in fact better than expected.
The author has created many twists within the plot and a great insight to the real indian political world with a beautiful love story. The ending isn't what one would expect, but that's the great thing about the author, every book has the unexpected.
A very good read, highly recommend.
