I grew up in the 60’s and I love vintage children’s drawings and all 60’s memorabilia. This is not a modern car book. It is a piece of history to teach a child about different times in our lives. The cars are old models. To me it was perfect for what I was looking for. Would purchase it again and again!
No me gusta tanto si comparar con el otro mas clasico de mismo autor: i am Bunny. Libro de tapa dura interior son hojas blandas, es sun problems para este libro, en la costura Los dibujos estan bloqueados... Es una pena
Great boy book! Two and a half year old that loves dinosaurs has started asking for “the new car book”. Woo Hoo!
(One year old girl likes this book a lot as well. Four year old girl, not so much.)
The pictures are colorful and introduce variety of vehicles to young eyes.
We enjoyed the traditional language of this book a great deal! The grandparents had fun reading it to him as well. We enjoyed the stories it inspired them to tell us relating to service stations and milk trucks.
I bought the Kindle version of this to read to my 3 year old grandson over Skype during the lock down. He loves vehicles so it was well received, despite them being dated and at times impractical. His mother was less enchanted when she saw some of the 1950s attitudes displayed where the mother does the house work while Dad sits, hat on, in the garden in a deck chair reading the paper.
