The characterization is absolutely amazing! The author has developed each character with varied shades. The book has all the elements to make it a blockbuster! I finished the book in about 5-6 hours. Could not take my eyes off it!
What I found interesting : The narration and the way things are told.. especially the author is not jumping directly to the main story.
The book is recommended to: To say, all readers including beginners. This is easy to understand and worth a deep read
I loved the way author has unfold the bits and pieces of the story and kept you on your toes till you finish the entire novel.
Definitely a curiousity builder.
The characters are relatable and presented with clarity. Author has narrated the story in a excellent way from first to last page where you will remember all the characters till the end of story as they are nicely brought together. The narrative style is highly engrossing. It is fast-paced and really cleverly thought through.
Needless to say after completing the book you will really feel like you have watched thrilling movie which contains love, family, suspense, crime etc.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone with moderate interest in reading. The plot will keep you hooked and hungry for more.
Overall, Ritualistic Murder is page-turner. A brilliant thriller.
The story is an absolute thriller. Looks like the chill and thrill when we read Dan Brown or Jeffrey Archer. More than the story the book says about India, it's states especially Jharakand. The author has indeed studied people well. All the characters seemed convincing not over glorification or underrating.
A perfect book for time pass..
This is a thrilling story with more actions and stunts. Highly recommended for all those who love high spirited works. You won't be disappointed even if u expected highly, this is has many events that will literally make even the readers rush..
It is great
Even though this can called as the prequel to the series called Kanke Killings, let me tell u, the book stands apart, independently.
Rajiv's fellow cops are also interesting especially the events narrated and the way the author unfolds the story.
The craftsmanship of the author must be praised. The literary techniques he used here is brilliant.
Kudos to the author

Written as the prequel to his popular Kanke Killings Trilogy, RITUALISTIC MURDER is just the right length to capture the readers’ attention and encourage probing the other three books. Kinshuk presents his primary character Inspector Rajiv in the role of detective, focusing on his skills as an investigator and solver of riddles and crimes.
Very wisely, especially for first time readers of his work, Kinshuk provides a very helpful cast of characters, eliminating some head scratching as the story unfolds. He opens the story in 2010 as follows: “Take cover, guys! Let us all rush towards the left side of the road. The road height from the ground will give us a semblance of protection. Raka, call for help. Let our boss know we are under fire. We do not have enough ammunitions to keep these crooks away for over half an hour. Do not spray bullets as we do not have enough of them, and they know that. They caught us napping here, well, almost. We were driving through seemingly their territory, without backup.’
Kinshuk’s writing style matches the story content and he takes many pauses to explain places and traditions and objects that may be foreign to many readers. The plot outline is offered in Kinshuk’s ‘style’ (a good editor would aid this venture!): ’The year 2008 was the period of a global meltdown with enormous job losses and unexpected foreclosures of dwelling stock.
