For example, Mr. Karlins advises that if you use your time doing dreadful tasks that save money but kills your personal morale, it's just not worth it. Pay someone else to do the task. Save time, energy, and negative thoughts, in order to do something else far more productive.
I use to spend an average of two to three hours every week detailing my full size SUV. It wasn't fun at all, but saved money.Due to Mr. Karlins advice, I opted to pay for a monthly car wash service and it's been a life saver. More time, energy with the family and my SUV always stays clean! This is just one example, this book is filled other great pieces of advice.
Thank you so much Mr. Karlins for writing an awesome book!!! I fully recommend Romancing the Clock to everyone who values effective time management.
The focus of this book is a little off from the traditional time management genre. Instead of teaching you how to better organize your use of time, Karlins tells you how to make the most of the time you have. After all, what is the point of being perfectly organized and wasting no time when you hate every second of it?
