5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful sequel, that will compel you to keep reading
By Richa Sharma on 30 August 2021
Rule of Wolves is the second book of the King of Scars Duology, following the characters Nikolai Lantsov, Zoya Nazyalensky and Nina Zenik. Set in the fictional world of Leigh Bardugo known as the Grishaverse, this book has got to be one of the beautiful sequels I've read. Not gonna spoil anything for you all, so read on with no hesitation!

This book begins with such force that you will be compelled to keep reading. It has everything love, grief, politics and entertainment. With multiple character point of view, the story is woven with such ease, that is the trademark quality of Leigh Bardugo writing. I was absolutely blown away with the ending, I'm sure the author is gonna kill us with her new SOC book. And I'm here for it!

Each and every character in this book has my heart, the witty banter and dialogues written for them are so fitting. I have highlighted lines upon lines and took my time reading my favourite passages. That's the sign of a wonderful read. I did enjoy King of Scars, but this book hit the sweet spot. Nikolai is a complete heartthrob in this book! He had me go complete crazy. At the same time, Zoya is a force to be reckoned with. Power couple through and through!

I devoured this book in a day! That says everything!
