‘Whether on stage or on the page, her language hits like lightning. It illuminates and it burns.’ Guardian

“I was given a loop to trace:
The hook, the hearth, the hill
I was born to be your bed
And I’m born for that still

—Kate Tempest ”

Running Upon The Wires is Kate Tempest’s masterpiece with varied series of formal poems, spoken songs, fragments, vignettes and ballads,

The book devoted the pain of loosing, heartbreak and missing to the joy of healthiest person with good relationships and how far a well hard can hold love when it is fond of. As the book name species this book is a mess of mesh of words framed together to create a art piece worth staring and worth reading. Each poem from the book is unfinished, raw and all the way like a pleasant cool raw mango swinging with joy on a hot summer day. I held this book and ended it with experiencing grief, joy, pain and urge to write more for myself.

This book is indeed a good read for poetry
