This motor is not powerful enough to be used for spray painting. The motor starts to struggle when it reaches around 90 psi/6 bars plus the airflow is very less. It cannot keep up even with HVLP spray gun with pressure adjusted to 5 bars and takes about 15 minutes to fill up 50 Lts air tank to 6.5 bar. It doesn't go higher than that.
It might be the voltage I get in my area which is about 180 -190 volts. Though my 2hp electric Piston type motor works fine within that voltage.
I bought this motor as it runs very quietly compared to the Piston electric motor but is not a viable replacement.
