I've seen that whether it is this Sanifresh or Harpic or whichever brand you choose, a bit of elbow grease (Scrubbing) is always required.
The advertisement of just leaving it there and flushing and expecting things to be shiny clean is nonsense. Take that commode brush and scrub.

Coming to that, while I have found all of them to be equally effective in cleaning the commode and getting rid of water stains, the only difference that dictates my buying decision is a personal preference to fragrance and the price.

This Sanifresh smells nice, has a decent cleaning ability along with a brush if poured on and left for about 1 hr to loosen dirt stains etc.

Please don't buy. I bought it coz it's Indian brand n repenting. Pathetic quality...left marks on my new dark brown walnut matt floor tiles in both bathrooms when poured directly white marks have come and those which are permanent now n doesn't go even if I switched back to Harpic...my new floor tiles of both bathrooms spoiled (full white spots n marks where poured directly) due to the harsh chemicals used...also the laquer of tile went off n when tiles r dry it looks really bad with sort of white layer

Sanifresh is not what the name suggests. It has no freshness. Rather, it has a very bad and unpleasant smell. My bathroom had no smell before. But now after cleaning with this it smells bad. I had to use another cleaning agent. I think Harpik might be better.
