This book made me throw it across the wall. All in the name of cliffhanger.

The more I love a book, the less I can say about it in a review and the more I fret I wouldn't do a great justice in describing how wonderful ride Siege and Storm is. So please bear with my poor attempt in expressing how much I love this book.
It is universally established that a sequel will either make or break a series. I heard all of the buzz and raving about this book and I love Shadow and Bone so much that I honestly had doubts that the sequel wont live to my expectation.{I'm sorry I have trust issue here} but I can triumphantly assure you that SIEGE AND STORM DEFINITELY MADE MY CENTURY AND THIS ENTIRE TRILOGY.
Siege and Storm picks up not long after Shadow and Bone ended. As Mal and Alina fled away, they tried to live in an strange land, keeping their identity a secret but she can’t never outrun her destiny for so long. The Darkling had come with a new terrifying power and a wicked plan but with the help of Sturmhond, the notorious privateer. Alina returned to the country she abandoned Ravka, eager to lead the Second Army with the purpose to defeat the Darkling. As Alina wield great power, the more she drifted apart from Mal and the further she dig herself deeper into the Darkling’s cruel game.
I feel the magic of Leigh Bardugo’s words, the power of the world she created. Siege and storm unfold in such a riveting fashion that ensures all of the readers will finish it with one sitting down. The plot is so gripping, thoroughly well written. Connecting with the story had been effortless. The characters are likeable to the point. I can’t even bring myself to hate the villain and that’s a very terrifying feeling but hey I’m all in for sexy bad guys. The usual Leigh Bardugo epic comebacks and humor are there, it will constantly make you laugh out loud and giggle. And the romance or should I say romances, It is one of those kind that will tore your heart apart, and will filled you with emotions that will frequently make you feel like ripping your hair out of your scalp because of the too much angst and ranging emotions. And isn't that what every books should strive for? Bringing raw forth emotion upon its reader. Miss Leigh Bardugo you out did yourself once again. I salute you.
Siege and Storm is the story of a orphan girl struggling with her power to save her country and to keep her eternal love. A highly recommended book.

I'd give it ten stars if I could; can't wait for book three

Suuuuch a great book/series. These are the first few chapters, and seriously, It's worth buying the whole thing. The main characters are so great, and a lot of themes in this series (like mercy being a powerful thing in and of itself) are things that you just don't see in the fantasy genre--or anywhere really. The leading lady is a strong woman who isn't a Strong Female Character, and Bardurgo's world building is phenomenal. Love it!

Excellent and different kind of "troubled" teenage dystopian-like story

Excellent and different kind of "troubled" teenage dystopian-like story. I have read the first 2 books in this series, going to read the 3rd book over the summer.
