We have only had the book a few days but have already earmarked so many mout-watering recipes to make (unusual as often we only find a few we fancy). I spent a pleasurable hour or so genuinely reading through this; Sabrina’s cooking is as exciting as it is non-pretentious. Tonight was the lamb kebabs and the kitchen still smells divine...absolutely delightful and really only needed some salad and yoghurt alongside.
Loads of veggie/ vegan recipes in here. We aren’t, but this will be useful for entertaining. Equally, she has been sensible in limiting ingredient lists and suggesting more affordable cuts of meat.
Whether you want a beautiful gift for someone, are a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine, or simply fancy a refreshing cookbook with lots of new ideas, I couldn’t recommend this more.

The book its self is ‘Simply’ beautiful! Luxurious silky pages, bright enticing pictures, and perfectly written recipes. I love a good introduction to each recipe that really sets the scene!
My style of cooking is ‘social’ food; anything that can be piled on to fanciful serving platers and dishes and thrown on the table for everyone to dig in, (along with copious amounts of wine of course) and for me this completely ticks those boxes! Nothing too over the top, yet special enough to wow!
I usually get my sticky notes out and mark the pages I most want to try with a new recipe book, but after marking nearly every page in the first chapter, ive given up! I want to try EVERYTHING! I can promise you, this book will not disappoint!

Then last night I made the fishcakes which had 2 TBS of English mustard powder in the ingredients. I should have trusted my instincts and put 2 teaspoons in as the result was inedible.
Such a shame, it makes me mistrust the whole book. Errors like this should have been picked up.
So disappointed.
