Content wise it is good with basics and little more. The language is simple and the book can be read by level 1 readers too
I bought this for my 3 year old son and as expected he enjoys the book for its amazing pictures. Neesless to say Usborne books are great on content

The hard cover book, as usual with Usborne’s children’s books, comes very well presented with colourful illustrations on each page. So it should even appeal to those who are not able to read yet. The vocabulary is aimed at the early, key stage 1 readers. Therefore the font type is slightly larger. But I would say the book is well-suited for children from say 4 to 9 years old. The book is slightly larger than Usborne early reader books and much smaller that the larger illustrated books so its an oddity in our collection, yet a much appreciated one.
For now the book has been added to our daughter’s little library of which she is very proud. At some stage it will pass on her younger brother who already has a bit more on the topic
My grandson loves Space and these are perfect for encouraging his passion at aged 4
The pictures are bright and the text is easy to read in a bold print for a young child ( my 5 year old Granddaughter ) and very informative.
A fantastic book to introduce a child to the solar system.
Thanks Eddie Wadsworth.
