I liked the metaphors of the beginning chapters. The later chapters of "exercises" were of less interest to me. Maybe just me. She's a lovely writer, and when she is thinking "out loud" in metaphor I find her delightful.
Promptly received it, but when they said audio, I assumed it would be in a cd format. I was surprised to see cassette tapes. I know it was my fault to assume, but I learned a valuable lesson. I'll have to dig out my cassette player. I'm planning on doing that this weekend.
this did help me navigate through some hard stuff, but it was initially hard to take seriously. Her style is cheesy and some of the content seemed to me like a shallow mix of random spiritual beliefs. I found what I needed like half-way through the book so I stopped reading it. Maybe I'll flip through the rest of the book some other time, but probably not anytime soon.
