A Sprinkle of Sorcery (A Pinch of Magic Adventure) Kindle Edition
A missing sister, a secret island and ... a sprinkle of sorcery.
The family curse has been lifted and the Widdershins sisters: Betty, Fliss and Charlie are free to leave the misty prison isle of Crowstone. But when a mysterious girl arrives at the Poacher’s Pocket with a pocketful of hagstones and accompanied by a will-o’-the-wisp, it seems another adventure has landed on their doorstep. And when Charlie goes missing, it’s up to Betty and Fliss to journey through misty marches, past wisp catchers and on to a secret island that doesn’t exist on any map…

Really enjoyed the second instalment of the Widdershins sisters books I really hope there is more to come.
I think they might be a bit too advanced for my 7 year old but my 9 year old would have no problem.
The tale of 3 parts with in this book was brilliantly done and couldn't wait to see what happened. Loved it
Again, we have a story within a story and Michelle intertwined them beautifully and makes you forget everything else in your life as you become so involved in this adventure.
There are pirates (good and bad) ghosts and a witch who tests their kindness and wit.
If you want to get lost in a book then n this is the one for you. If you like ghost stories this is for you. If you like adventure this is for you. The book is appealing on so many levels, I can't recommend it enough.
Ideal for 9 years and up.
While technically a children’s book, Harrison’s storytelling is the kind that appeals to readers of all ages. I borrowed its audiobook edition, read by Nicky Diss, to allow for an immersive read/listen and enjoyed it very much.
It is charming, whimsical, and very funny. I am looking forward to reading the third in the series, ‘A Tangle of Spells’.
