Little to no information on body language and absolutely No diagrams or pictures indicating body postures that the body adapts to nullify the stress.
Picked up this book gain a stronger understanding of body language and came away thoroughly unimpressed.
It is not to say that I learnt nothing from this book, there are some good advice and tidbits but was not what I hoped this book was - a solid guide to both verbal and non verbal symptoms of deception.
Would recommend ‘What every body is saying’ by Joe Navarro over this and that book is an excellent starting point for people who wish to learn about body language and deception.
Joe Navarros book truly helped me understand how the body reacts to certain stimuli and has served me well over the years. My personal experience interacting with people and reading their body’s stress response from Mr. Navarro’s perspective is quite astonishing in its accuracy and better to identify deception.
For absolute beginners - I would recommend Mr. Navarro’s book along with this.
I Thank author for writing this wonderful book of knowledge
