To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
A great story about the importance of sharing. It loses stars because of the adult level vocabulary. Grown ups are going to spend half the time explaining the text, no small child is for example going to know what dismay, bounty or teeter means.
I like this book but my little girl who loves books never wants to read it.. i think because theres a lot going on in the illustration that it’s a bit blurred in a way to her... also it’s not really a glossy type book like most others so will tear very easy.. my daughter is young at 18months so maybe it’s more for older readers? She loved other books from the same age range but this one is defo not on her list
Tale of two little squirrels, one who has enough and one who has nothing. Fun race through the forest after the last nut. Witty and well illustrated it will have you laughing out loud. Ultimately about learning to share and friendship. The story text rhymes and flows really well. Great addition to any collection and wonderful for storytime.
I love this book! The pictures are great, the story has a great moral, is humorous and well written and the rhyming is clever and subtle. I just love it. I've bought one more by this author and will be buying all of the rest!
My 2 year old absolutely loves the whole range of these books! We read one very night so we thought we would get some more. We was not disappointed! They are written so beautifully and we do really enjoy reading them & the imagination that comes with them.
Fantastic book!! The illustrations are absolutely beautiful and add so much depth to the story. The language used throughout is great, making this book a good read even for older children! One of my favourites to read in class!
If you enjoy an easy rhyming read for your children this is for you. Perfect to read for children 2-6 years. 100% recommend and this would be perfect to give as a gift if you are looking for present ideas for children or stocking fillers.
