3.0 out of 5 stars I may need this in 10 years...

Beautiful book. Really well presented and put together. Actually very inspirational but I've found the expectation on equipment, resources and supplies was set far beyond the realms of most of us. As per image attached, the tool list for some projects is extensive or specialised and that puts the whole project on the re-design list or off the cards altogether. The ardent diy-er or carpenter would have no problem but I am an enthusiastic 30-something who has not amassed the tool-list needed to tackle these projects. My Dad built a rabbit run many years ago thinking it would be cost efficient and last longer. Let's just say, his experience feels like a page from this book. Great to build skills but even after a design degree and with my design engineer father raising me to get my hands dirty, I'm still having to read and re-read instructions over and over and over and over!

Beautiful book but not one for the beginner or for the budget-er.
