I purchased this book as a last minute kinda thing.
My 2 Grandchildren came to stay as a last minute thing and when it came to their bedtime I gasped in horror.
I have no story books.
So I got onto my Kindle and came across this book, it looked ideal. So I downloaded it.
The stories are short. Some shorter than others.
Some are written in a poem style but most of them have an element of fun to them.
We enjoy bedtime for these stories. We always have at least 2 stories depending on the length of the story.
I’d strongly recommend downloading it. You and your little ones will enjoy them too.

Bought this as a bedtime story book for six and nine yr olds. they love the stories and the rhymes. six year old likes to look at the front page .as one who enjoys drawing he has copied the lion . so this story book has doubled up as an educational drawing book too. he has since wrote his version of what is happening with the animals ! a lovely educational book in more ways than one. a great book to talk about and for grandchildren to add there versions of what could happen. it has only one diss advantage its not very good as a bedtime story book .doesn't exactly get them to sleep !

There are stories written as poems which is rather nice. Lots of illustrations. Some stories are just a couple of pages long so not too taxing for an early reader. Other stories are a bit longer but still easy to read. All in all a good book for a child learning to read.

My three year old and I loved this wonderfully illustrated book, full of rhymes and stories. There are stories with morals, classic tales of magic and lore and stories spiced with fun and laughter. You can even find the odd recipe inside, for fun things to do afterwards! The illustrations are many and varied and helped with my child's understanding of each short tale.

The format works well on my iPad and because there are so many stories, when you've finished reading you can simply go to the beginning and start again!

A thoroughly good buy and lots of reading fun for little people.

My7 yr old Grand-daughter loved it, But to be honest, I think it would have been better marketed at 4-6 yr olds as most of the stories were just too babyish for her. Its a good book. The stories were certainly fun, as per the title. We had reading them to each other, but my Grand-daughter soon bored of it and wanted a different book. a "More grown up book please Nana ". Good marks apart from that
