My 5 year old likes this, but I HATE it. Which is a shame because I love the books, I could read them all day! But this audiobook is super annoying. They are trying too hard to be funny and lively, and the result is irritating voice acting and songs that make you want to cover your ears. Too many poorly coordinated instruments and loud silly voices singing bad songs. And for nothing, because it never makes my child laugh. Get the Funnybones audiobook instead, that's awesome! Makes my child laugh out loud and sounds so nice that I wouldn't mind if it was on all day long (which it sometimes is...)

I'm so disappointed by this CD! We love the books & thought this would be great for the car for my 3 yr olds, but it's dreadful & everyone just asks for it to be turned off. It's over acted, & has far too many loud & annoying sound effects, with random musical interludes in the middle of the story, which all ends up making it so slow that you completely lose the rhythm of the verses, which is half the appeal of Julia Donaldson. I wish I could send it back!
